FAQ

How much noise does 32dB ANC actually remove in daily life?

32dB Active Noise Cancellation is built to cut steady, low-frequency noise such as metro and train rumble, bus engines, ceiling fans and AC hum. Sudden or sharp sounds like a horn or a nearby conversation are reduced but not erased, which also keeps you aware of your surroundings. You can switch ANC on or off to suit where you are.

What is the difference between ANC and Quad Mic ENC? Don't they do the same thing?

They solve opposite problems. ANC cleans up what you hear by reducing the noise around you. Quad Mic ENC cleans up what the other person hears by filtering background noise out of your voice during calls. Goboult Spektra has both, so the music stays clear for you, and your voice stays clear on calls.

I have small ears and earbuds usually fall out or hurt after an hour. Will Goboult Spektra be any different?

Goboult Spektra is designed around this problem. LiDAR Mapped Ergonomics shapes the earbud to suit a range of ear contours. The Vacuum Lock Earshell helps it sit securely, the Elliptical Ear Tips follow the natural shape of the ear canal, and the Capsule Shaped Stem keeps the weight balanced for long sessions.

I work on a laptop but take calls on my phone. Can Goboult Spektra handle both?

Yes. Dual Device Connectivity lets you keep Goboult Spektra connected to two devices at once, for example a laptop and a phone, and switch between them without re-pairing each time. It works with Android, iOS, Windows and macOS devices.

Is Goboult Spektra good for gaming, or will I notice audio lag?

Combat Gaming Mode brings latency down to 45ms, so footsteps, gunshots and in-game cues stay in sync with the action on your screen. It suits mobile gaming as well as streaming and video, where lip-sync matters.

What audio codecs does it support, and will it sound better on my phone?

Goboult Spektra supports AAC and SBC. iPhones use AAC, which is generally the better-quality option on Apple devices. Android phones use AAC if the phone supports it and SBC otherwise. The 13mm dynamic drivers handle the sound, and the GOBOULT AMP App lets you fine-tune it with custom EQ and preset modes.

Do I need the GOBOULT AMP App to use Goboult Spektra?

The app isn't required to connect and listen. It adds the personalisation layer: custom EQ, preset sound modes and further settings, so you can tune your Goboult Spektra to your own taste in bass, vocals or balance.

Do I need a special charger?

No. Goboult Spektra charges through a standard Type-C port, so the same cable you use for most modern phones and laptops will work. Lightning Fast Charging means a short top-up gets you listening again quickly, which helps when you're heading out and the case is low

Can I wear Goboult Spektra to the gym or in the rain?

Yes. IPX5 means the earbuds are protected against sweat and water splashing from any direction, so workouts, runs and light rain are fine. It is not meant for swimming, the shower or being submerged in water.

Can I control music and calls without taking out my phone?

Yes. Touch controls on the earbuds handle playback and calls, and the AI Voice Assistant lets you use your phone's voice assistant hands-free. That means you can change a track, take a call or ask for directions with your hands full or your phone in a bag.
